Meet Your Massage Therapist
My name is Hailey Bouchard, and I’m a licensed massage therapist in Greenville, SC. I have a deep respect for the relationship between the body, nervous system, and the pace of modern life.
I graduated from the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, North Carolina, and hold massage licenses in both South Carolina (#14295) and North Carolina (#23164). My approach blends attentive, individualized bodywork with techniques that support mobility, relaxation, stress relief, and nervous system balance.
Outside the treatment room, I’ve spent years exploring nature, culture, meditation, and yoga practices that continue to shape how I approach presence and care. Time spent traveling through India especially deepened my appreciation for stillness, intentional living, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe to fully exhale.
At Oak Tree Bodywork, my goal is to offer work that is both skillful and deeply human. I value integrity, warmth, and genuine connection, and I believe therapeutic care can be effective without feeling clinical or impersonal. Healing often happens best when people feel comfortable, supported, and at ease.
Why People Love Coming to Oak Tree

Schedule Your Massage
What should I wear to my massage appointment?
You will be draped with a sheet and blanket throughout your session. Most clients choose to fully disrobe, but you are welcome to keep your underwear on if that feels more comfortable.
If your treatment plan includes a lot of stretching, we recommend wearing boxer briefs or fitted shorts to allow for easier movement and comfort.
Do I need to shower before my massage?
It is not necessary to shower right before your massage, but it is appreciated if you come to your appointment clean and free of fragranced personal care products.
Where should I park?
Please park anywhere in the driveway at our address 22 Flora Ave, Greenville SC 29611
What should I tell you before my massage?
When you arrive, you’ll complete a brief intake form covering your health history, medications, relevant medical conditions, and consent for your massage session.
Please share any important health information, including allergies, pregnancy, injuries, or areas of pain and tension, so your session can be safely customized to your body’s needs and goals.
During Your Massage
What will happen during my massage?
We will begin your massage by reviewing your goals for the massage and any areas of your body that you would like for us to focus on. Then I’ll leave the room and you will undress to your comfort level and lie down on the massage table under the sheet and blanket.
If needed, there is a private restroom for you to use before you get comfortable for your massage.
I will knock before returning to the room and I will start by applying hot towels with or without aroma therapy depending on your preference. After I remove the towels, I begin with applying warmed medium to the areas we will be addressing in the session.
At the end of your massage, you’re welcome to take a few moments on the table before getting dressed. When you’re ready, we’ll meet in the reception area to complete payment and, if you’d like, discuss scheduling your next session.
What if I feel uncomfortable during my massage?
My priority is your safety and comfort! I check in at various times to make sure everything is feeling alright but I encourage you to let me know if you would like me to make changes at any point. I can adjust the pressure, temperature, change the technique, or take a break if needed.
Is it ok to talk during my massage?
Whether or not you talk during your massage is completely up to you. Some clients enjoy conversation, while others prefer to relax quietly or focus on their breath during the session. You are always welcome to do whatever helps you feel most comfortable and supported.
After Your Massage
What should I do after my massage?
It is important to drink plenty of water after your massage to help hydrate your muscles, encourage lymph movement, and support the increased circulation. You may also want to avoid strenuous activity such as exercise until the following day.
How often should I get massages?
How often you get massages depends on your individual needs and budget. Some people find that they benefit from weekly massages, while others only need massages once a month or even less. After your first appointment we can work go over a care plan that works for you.
Will I be sore afterwards?
Soreness after a massage is possible, especially if deeper therapeutic techniques or focused work around areas of chronic tension are used. When it occurs, it is usually mild and temporary, similar to the feeling of having exercised or stretched unfamiliar muscles.
Some clients feel immediate relief and relaxation after their session, while others notice subtle soreness for 24–48 hours as the body adjusts and releases tension patterns. Staying hydrated, resting when needed, and gentle movement can help support recovery afterward.
General Questions
What forms of payment do you accept?
My preferred payment method is Zelle or cash because it comes without fees, but I also accept Credit Cards, and Venmo.
What if I am running late for my appointment?
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to stay on schedule for the next client and the full session rate will still apply.
I am however, flexible because I have a 30 minute window between appointments to allow plenty of time for you to ease in and out of your session, so your massage will only be shortened if it is absolutely needed.
What if I need to cancel my massage?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session rate. This policy helps protect the time reserved specifically for you and allows the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client.
